Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely outstanding service from ClimaChill, and especially from Scarlett.

From the moment I contacted the team, Scarlett went above and beyond to help me with my air conditioning unit. Her work ethic, professionalism and willingness to help were genuinely impressive. She was incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable, and made sure that my issue was dealt with properly rather than simply brushing it aside.

It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes so much pride in their work and genuinely cares about giving customers a great experience. Scarlett is a real credit to ClimaChill and deserves recognition for the effort she puts in.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ClimaChill to anyone, and if you’re lucky enough to deal with Scarlett, you know you’re in good hands

Air conditioning for server room: the benefits

Controlling the heat in your server room is important. Excess heat can dramatically reduce the performance of your servers, cause permanent damage to their components and, in extreme cases, cause them to catch fire. Any time spent carrying out repairs on your servers represents downtime for your business, which can have a significant impact on productivity.

At Climachill, we examine every room that our air conditioners will be installed in and conduct thorough server room air conditioning site surveys. This allows us to ensure we find a bespoke solution to your cooling and heating needs. We provide internal and external units where possible while our range of commercial portable air conditioning units provides ample cooling power in various locations.

Installing air conditioning in your server room acts as a cost-effective solution to protect your business from untoward disruptions. You gain control over the temperature and air quality of your server room rather than leaving things to chance and risk damaging vital computing components.

How can Climachill help?

By ensuring that we map out where our air conditioning units are located, we create an even distribution of temperature which avoids hot and cold zones. However, server room air conditioners can be a little different from the norm and should be directed onto your machinery to ensure it remains cool.

Reliability is key in a server room, which is why all of our engineers are FGAS-certified installers to provide you with the best units. Our air conditioning specialists and qualified installation team can advise on the requirements for your server room, from the number of units required to their location. All of our units come with a full range of aftersales with a maintenance schedule to ensure your air conditioning is running as it should all year.

Which server room ac units are best ?

With more and more people working remotely, it’s never been as important to have a server room air conditioning unit that you can rely on, as the servers may be working overtime. Air conditioning units come in various types, with some better for the job of cooling a server room than others.

Wall-mounted air conditioners

Server room wall-mounted air conditioners are a popular choice because they allow you to have greater control over airflow than other designs. The airflow can be directly aimed at servers to keep them as cool as possible, or they can be pointed around the room to maintain a more even temperature. Given the importance of a server to modern businesses, having a backup air conditioning unit for emergencies is advisable.

Commercial Portable air conditioning units

Our commercial range of server room suitable portable air conditioners allow for greater freedom of choice about where you wish to cool. With a server room rated portable air conditioner, you can choose to cool a single server or keep an entire server room at a cool temperature. Portable air conditioning units also act as a great emergency backup for your server room in the event of a wall-mounted unit requiring servicing.

We would like to thank your company for the reliable service provided with our air conditioning systems over the last few years. The original purchase was handled smoothly and you have always been most accommodating whenever we have needed further assistance. During our recent renovation, your company was easy to contact, quick to respond and most helpful in relocating the equipment.

After contacting several Air Conditioning Suppliers who failed to turn up, I managed to locate Climachill who carried out a site survey and installed the air conditioning to regulate the temperature in my server room, all within 21 days of the initial contact with minimal disruption. This included the installation of additional electrics to cope with the extra power draw from the 3 air conditioning units and the removal of a double glazed window for the triple extraction system. I have found Climachill’s service efficient and professional and have no hesitation in recommending them.

From installation through to ongoing maintenance I have found all at Climachill to be most helpful and efficient in all of my dealings with them. We have had no issues whatsoever with our system that they installed and it has been extremely effective in managing costs both in summer and through the winter whilst keeping us cool and warm respectively.

Climachill fitted full air conditioning to our office premises which is a converted barn in Glynde near Lewes. We received the highest level of service right through from them providing a very competitive quotation through to the complete installation. It has transformed our working environment when we end up with extreme temperatures at either end of the scale and so much so that I have installed an air conditioning system at my own house, again which Climachill have completed to an excellent standard.

Many thanks for carrying out such a quick and professional job here last week, we are pleased that we chose Climachill over the competition for our air-conditioning installation. As for your competitors, we chose Climachill not only because, on a like for like basis (5&7kw units) you were cheaper but because you came across as the most professional when you visited us initially to make the site survey and discuss our requirements.
