It is now becoming more common to install air conditioning into domestic environments, especially in the conservatory and now more frequently bedrooms.

Climachill have installed wall split systems into bedrooms, conservatories, kitchens, lounges and dining rooms. There has never been a better time to have an air conditioning system installed in your home because if the air conditioning system installed is a ‘heat pump’ system (so can be used for heating as well as cooling) then due to the energy efficiency of the systems the government allows us to charge domestic customers only 5% vat. All systems installed by Climachill come with this ‘heat pump’ technology so all domestic customers will only pay 5% v.a.t. for their air conditioning installation.

Breakdowns & Maintenance

All systems installed by Climachill come with a 3 years full parts and labour warranty*.

Climachill understand that After Sales support is actually more important than the initial sales process, after all if you are having an Air Conditioning System installed you want to know that should a fault develop you know exactly how to get the fault corrected and be safe in the knowledge that it will be corrected swiftly and professionally. Anyone can sell you an Air Conditioning System, install it badly take your money and walk away but what about the After Sales Service? You may find that there is not one, and you may be left with a faulty Air Conditioning System and unable to get anyone to look at it.

Climachill work differently. It is unlikely that your system will develop a fault but you can be assured that if it does Climachill will remedy the fault swiftly and professionally. We have our own in House Service Engineer who carries spare parts so it is likely that your fault will be corrected on the first call and Climachill aim to attend any reported problem which can’t be remedied over the telephone within a maximum of 2 working days.

Maintenance of your Air Conditioning System is important as it prevents unwanted breakdowns. Like most types of mechanical equipment, if it is not maintained regularly it will eventually let you down, probably when you most need it. To ignore maintenance is a false economy as efficiency will drop and running costs will increase. With regular maintenance reliability will be improved, reducing the indirect costs, product or trading losses associated with equipment failure. We find that many service calls could be avoided had the unit been regularly maintained. One of the main causes being dirt and particle build up on evaporators and condenser coils decreasing the heat transfer and so reducing the systems energy efficiency, this means that the unit has to work much harder to achieve the desired temperatures and therefore burns more electricity resulting in larger bills for you.

On a maintenance visit we check refrigerant levels, electrical connections, change over the filters, clean the indoor evaporator, clean the outdoor condenser and check that the system is running correctly. We actually leave the system in an as new condition so that you get another 12 months of trouble free operation - after all the last thing you want and we want is for your Air Conditioning System to break down during a heat wave!

*3 year warranty is only valid if you have your system routinely serviced once a year.
